It's HERE!

I'm so excited!

I'm going to have a hard time containing my exuberance on this one!!! I'm happy to announce my images just got sharper! This is where I should erupt directly into the the hallelujah chorus! Welcome to life with my brand Nikon D300S! Ya baby, in the world of camera's I'm moving up.
My daughter inspired me to sell my D200. I've hated that camera since the day I first owned it. It was a constant battle to get a sharp image. After finally reading a million specs on it, I discovered it wasn't me creating most of the blur. The camera also has a nasty little habit of underexposure, and learning to deal with that wasn't fun either.
When my daughter sold her camera I thought to myself, why don't I sell mine. So I did and after hours of researching you can see what I chose. The nice thing about the D300S is it also does video. Wow, I just saved myself lots of cash! Also the reviews were so excellent on this camera, it's being touted as a 8th world wonder!
After receiving the order the camera had been shipped, this week started out with the most intense waiting ever. I swear it was worse than waiting for my first child. I thought it would come on Monday. I thought it would come on Tuesday. By Wednesday I was standing out on the road waiting for the UPS man, thumping my foot. Soon the familiar truck rolled to a stop.
"Wow, curbside service," he chirped. I was all smiles until he handed me the package.
"What??? I ranted on and on, "It's the wrong shape." I sputtered.
The little man all dressed in brown was not amused.  I took my package into the house feeling very disgruntled and opened it up only to see a crummy box of Cerama Bryte, how depressing. I was hoping to be able to use my new camera on Baby "K".  Later that morning when I was snapping a million pictures of "Miss Kutie Pie" I intensely complained the whole entire time. I'm going to have to bring her over again for more pictures just to prove my point!
Thursday however, things got blissfully better. I was upstairs when I heard the doorbell and did an all out record sprint down the hall, clearing the landing, and doubling the stairs. When I opened the door the UPS man was grinning from ear to ear. "I think you're going to be happy today," he said. I nearly hugged and kissed the man when I saw the shape of the box!
Now I've got a good grip on this beauty! Just try to pry this black sleek stallion out of my hands --- go on ---- I dare ya! Move over Mr. G, I' sleeping with my Nikon!
